Get Better Basketball Academy

Coach Raymond Garnett, Coach Orlando Glover, Coach Anthony League and Coach Ronnie Wills
What:
We have come together to organize and create a new basketball program. A basketball program grounded in old traditional values and infused with innovative practical experience. We are providing a program committed to personal character development, player development, team play development and teaching basketball IQ. Our grand opening was September 7, 2024. We have decided to partner with 462 Society who will serve as our Nonprofit Incubator until we can develop and run our own standalone 501c(3) program.
When:
Dates for the 2026 Club Season TBA
Where:
We are centrally located in Carson, California. We have access to several gyms located in this area. We will be participating in some of southern California’s best tournaments.
Why:
We bring a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to coaching youth basketball. Our coaching staff emerge from out of the classroom and the education system. We bring extensive training and coaching skills to the sports community. Providing our services with a well-trained coaching staff. Our attention to detail is dynamic and knowledge of player development for the game of basketball is thorough.
How:
Club/travel teams are pay-to-play. Our monthly fee will be $300 a month. The fee is based on which gym facility we utilize, tournament fees and administration fees.
We will get it done in practice. The magic is in the recipe of our practice planning. We approach player development with a commitment to making a complete basketball player. We develop a complete player that can achieve more in a basketball game. We develop teams prepared to compete in all aspects of basketball.
THE FRAT GAMES LLC
The Frat Games, LLC hosts sporting events and licensing to organization dedicated to promoting and uplifting Divine Nine fraternities and sororities through spirited athletic competition.
Our events are designed to bring organizations together in an atmosphere of excellence, energy, and pride. Through structured tournaments, league play, and signature competitions, chapters compete for bragging rights while strengthening bonds that extend far beyond the field or court.
