The League Family Male Scholarship
Created by Anthony and Nia League with consultation from their children, AJ, Ayah & Amir.
This scholarship is intended to benefit middle class families that are often excluded from need-based scholarships.
This is the second scholarship offered by the League Family.
OPEN TO BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN GRADUATING SENIORS ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY; planning to attend the following universities: California State Universities - Dominguez Hills, Fullerton, Long Beach, Or Pomona
Preference given to students attending: Mayfair High School, Lakewood, California
Scholarship Amount: $1,000 non-renewable
Requirements:
• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.75
• Recipient must register in one of the accredited four-year institutions listed above in the Fall of the year receiving the award. Student must be at least 2nd
Generation College Student (one/both parents have earned a college degree).
• Enrollment verification will be required via an official university or college document.
